We have been so busy this week playing baseball, swimming and just hanging out. Tomorrow Jeremy is off and we are planning to spend a family day together. We are going to go swimming and maybe a movie. Jiles loves it when Daddy takes a day off to be with us. Baseball is almost over and then Jiles will start Tae-Kwon-Do and he can't wait. He loves pretending like a Ninja Turtle and wants to learn to do kicks and punches. We shall see-it could be a little scary, but I am sure he will love it.
So my son is the Memory champ of the world. He can play Memory like no other. He has truly beat Jeremy and I fair and square. Do they give college scholarships for Memory whizzes? If so we are golden.
Adoption Update:
I called about starting our homestudy and since our adoption will most likely be independent (private lawyer) then we need to wait until we find our birthmother because they have to fill out stuff on them as well. We are also looking into networking with Kentucky Adoption Services and they said if we are looking for a Caucasian child then we would be 2nd on the list. WOW!!! They said the most families were waiting for bi-racial and African-American children. Usually this is the opposite. Please be in prayer about what direction we should go in. We just want to stay in God's will and do what he wants us to do. We are also going to be doing an adoption yard sale in July to raise money for our homestudy so if you have any junk you want to get rid of just send it on over. Thank you all for being such amazing friends and prayer warriors for our family. Many blessings to you all. Believing in Mark 11:24
