Finally....Here it is Jiles after his performance at the Holiday Talent Show!! We needed a picture for next year's year book. He is cheesing...we are so proud of our little man. He did a fantastice job and wasn't a bit nervous. There was a least 150-200 people there. I was nevous for him but not our rock star, he was excited. He thought he was a true Rocker with little girls yelling... "Go Jiles". Too funny!!!
This is the daily happenings of a woman and her crazy life filled with everyday blessings.

Dear Lennon....Happy 6 Months
Dear Lennon,
Happy 6 months old sweet baby girl!!!! We can't wait until you are home with us so we can celebrate every month with you. I know you are being loved on, held tight, and cuddled with. God has giving me peace about your protection. I pray you come home soon. Jiles can't wait to be a big brother to you. We are getting your room together and getting ready to send you a care package of goodies. You will love the teddy bear and make sure you look at the pictures to get used to our faces. We say a special prayer for you every night and several times during the day as well. I know God has big plans for you and for Jiles. I feel so blessed to be called Mom by such wonderful children. Jiles said he can't wait to clean you diaper and hold you when your scared. Dad can't wait to give you big kisses and make you laugh. I can't wait to have a daughter to grow with and one day be best friends. I hope today was a special day for you. I heard this poem just yesterday and thought how perfect it was for you.
The Gift of Life
I didn't give you the gift of life,
But in my heart I know.
The love I feel is deep and real,
As if it had been so.
For us to have each other
Is like a dream come true!
No, I didn't give you
The gift of life,
Life gave me the gift of YOU!!!
Happy 6 months sweet baby girl. We love you so much,
Mom, Dad, and Big Bro Jiles

One More Pic From A New Holt Friend
BELLY TIME!!!! Another picture from a Holt friend we met from Iowa that just went to Korea to pick up her daughter. She had all of these pictures from babies at the Reception Center and guess what....Lennon was there and she had this picture of her. Thank you...Thank you C for giving us this picture. She said Lennon was curious and quiet. I know she is well taken care of and being loved on. I know she is there for a reason because there was no foster families available and I am grateful it is a clean, safe, and has wonderful women there taking care of our angel. Enjoy the picture of Lennon.....more pictures and video of Jiles will follow today of the TALENT SHOW DEBUT!!! HE was AWESOME!!!

Busy... Busy... Busy
Well, we have filled out so much paper work... and now we have to what until Saturday to mail off our paper work with our check. WOW!!! We can't wait for it to be out of our hands and on it's way to Oregon and then Korea.
We did get Lennon's April Well Baby Check up and it looks perfect. She was 5 months old at this visit and she was assessed at 5 months. She is laughing, coos, smiles, and so much more. It was a bitter sweet moment. I love reading about our baby girl but it makes me want to fly over there RIGHT now and go get her. I hope to get new pictures today or tomorrow.
Just wanted to check in and let everyone know where we were in the process. Hurray up Saturday!!! I am ready to mail this off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jiles Update- He is playing baseball right now and last night he got 2 doubles. Man, my baby boy can hit that ball. He is also playing the drums in our school's talent show Friday night. This is a BIG deal at Holiday so I know he will do great. I hope he doesn't get to nervous. He plays pretty good but mostly it is just so cute and precious to watch. Wish him luck!!!
Blessings, Rhea Anne

A Day to Remeber and Happy Mother's Day!!!
Well, today is Mother's Day I thought how appropriate would it be to post about our referral call.
But first I want to say "Happy Mother's Day" to all of you out there. This is the day the Lord gave us to recognize and show our love to our Moms. My mother is a Godly women that loves her King. She is so compassionate and shows grace and mercy to everyone around her. She made me the woman I am today and I thank God for her daily. I pray that I can live a life of love just as she does. We are best friends and do so much together. We work almost side by side everyday and most people would not like to work daily with their mother but for me it is great. I love seeing her smiling face each morning. She also gives me a Dt. Mt. Dew each day as well. What a woman!!! She is the best Nana and Jiles thinks the world of her. She carries Lennon's picture around with her and shows off the newest addition to her grand babies. I am so proud of my Momma and love her so much. We talk almost 3 or 4 times a day. I know... I know we always forget something and have to call each other back. Well today is your day MOM and I LOVE YOU!!!
As for me.... I am so blessed to now be the mother of two sweet angels. God has allowed me to give birth to our son and now we have one waiting in Korea for us. I hope these months go by fast. On Tuesday 5/5/09 was the day that made me a mother of 2. It started like every other day. Work...went to the YMCA to workout and then home for supper and bed time routines. The past 2 days I had forgotten my cell phone and had a funny feeling that day and almost went home to get it but decided no it would be there when I get home. The good thing is my agency is 2 hours behind us and I knew if they had called then they would still be at work when I got home. When Jiles and I got home I checked the phone... NADA!! Oh well... always tomorrow I thought!
So started cleaning the kitchen, talked to a friend, started supper, answered the door, and then the phone rang!!!! I looked at the caller ID (Eugene, Oregon).... hmmm... THAT IS HOLT!!! I screamed. Answered and Jessica was on the other end. She said "Is this Rhea Anne?" "yes" I said. "Is this a good time to talk?"....."Duh...spit it out".... that is what I wanted to say but instead I said "yes, do you have something to tell us?" Then she started telling us about our daughter. It was so wonderful. She then said she would e-mail us her file and picture. I ran to the computer with Jeremy and Jiles. Then I realized the computer was down at school and my e-mail wasn't going to work.
Jeremy was calm... I was not!!! I called Holt 2 times before I spoke to anyone and then she sent it to another e-mail address. This 5 minutes was like 2 hours. We opened up her file and then got to her sweet picture. We couldn't get that smile off of our face. She is here. This is the one we have been praying for for so long. It was a wonderful day!!!!
This day made my Mother's Day so much more special. I have been waiting for so long to be a Mother of two sweet babies. My God has heard and answered my call. Just like Hannah-Our God gave me my desires in his perfect timing. I feel so blessed. Thank you God for allowing me to be a mother of two precious gifts from you. (Can't wait to take our first picture of Me and my 2 children)
Hug on your Mom today and thanks for following our journey. Have a great week hope we get more pictures soon. :)

Here She Is!!!
Since we have had our formal approval by phone and have been sent to the regular Korea program... I thought it was time to show off our sweet angel. These pictures seem to be infant pictures and we hope to get more recent pictures soon. Is she not the cutest thing ever? Look at those eyes-perfect, that nose-perfect, those small sweet lips-perfect, that HAIR... PRICELESS!!! I love every bit of her already. We are thrilled to announce to you..... our sweet Lennon!!!
(Please go down to the last post and read about the HUGE GOD moment we had while talking to the Dr. that read over our referral. I talked with another Dr. today from a totally different state that studied the same sickness on infants and she is actually friends with the first Dr. (Small world-I think not-It is just Our GOD!!!) She was sick as an infant and seems to be recovered well and she is now a healthy baby girl. Praise you and Thank you God!!!

Look at that those sweet feet and hands. Oh 3-4 months go by fast!!! I can't wait to kiss those cheeks.
We love you Lennon. Praying for you daily and praying that you are loved, held closely, rocked, read to, sang to, prayed upon, and secure in your foster home until we get our hands on you.
Thank you God for making me a Mother of 2 on this Mother's Day...The best gift ever. I feel so blessed!! God has heard our prayers and has answered BIG!!! :)
Many Blessings, Rhea Anne
5/6/09....A special day in our daughters life all the way across the world.
Yesterday was a "Red Letter Day" in the life of our sweet angel. We said "yes" to this precious little girl that was always a daughter to the King but now IS a daughter and little sister to us. We talked with the doctors and felt very comfortable about the information they gave us. And around 4:45 pm Eun-Hye became Lennon!!!!! We are so overjoyed with her sweet face and can't wait to hold her. I will post pictures as soon as we sign the papers and she is ours. I can't wait to show her off and that hair... what until you see it!!!
I wanted to share the God moment that I had yesterday. It was as if God himself spoke to me. I had been praying along with my other prayer warrior friends about wisdom and for us to know exactly what to do for our family and the decision about this sweet baby. When the Dr. called it was right before my faculty meeting and I couldn't talk. That meeting which lasted about 1 hour and 15 minutes seemed like eternity. I finally got to talk with her and she was a wealth of knowledge. She went detail by detail explaining everything we needed to know. At the very end.. I said that our pediatrician which we LOVE was a little more uneasy about her sickness as an infant and it was good to hear such positive. Then she said... "OH yeah, I forgot to tell you that my other Doctorate (of course everyone has 2 doctorate degrees) is in infectious diseases and I specialized in viral meningitis in infants." WOW... can you believe that the one thing my daughter had is the one thing this doctor specialized in and even wrote essays about. That was God!!!! She knew exactly what she was talking about and gave us the go ahead we needed to hear. God is SOOOO Good!!!!
Stay turned to more about the referral day and then pictures will soon follow. I can't wait to share this journey with you all. I love that I have so many new friends in the blog world that have the love for adoption, love for our God, and our prayer warriors for us. I cherish each one of you. Feeling blessed, ... What a GREAT Mother's Day gift. I am now a Mother of 2!!!!!!!!!!!!
