Baby Showers, Lennon's Room Pics, and Jiles' Room Pics... Oh My!!
Sorry guys.... it has been a long time since I posted but this post will be well worth the wait. WE have been busy with BABY showers, getting two rooms ready to go, and now getting ready for school to start. I will let all the pictures do all the talking. Enjoy!!! Please be in prayer with us. WE are hoping and praying for a TC next week. Please pray with us.... the WAIT is so hard. We want our baby girl home!!!!!
Baby Shower#1 was at Bunco with all my Bunco girls but I didn't take any pictures. I know, I know that stinks. Thank you ladies for all the gifts. They were perfect.
Baby Shower #2 The hostess were my Cousin Tara and my Aunt Marda. Thank you so much ladies. The shower was AWESOME and thank you to all my friends and family for coming and celebrating this time with me. All the gifts were so perfect for our little girl. And the food was sooooo good also! :O)

Cousin Tara, Me (Lennon), and Aunt Marda!!! Cheese!!!!

Jiles and I at the shower holding up baby girl's picture. She is soooo CUTE!!!

My friend Tammy's little angel Ellie from China and this sweet adoption book they gave Lennon. Thank you both for coming. Isn't Ellie just a doll.

More people at the shower. My mom, Jiles, Me, Marleigh holding Lennon's pic, Emma, Laura, and Aunt Cathy.

Jiles (don't you love the Big Bro crown-Daddy helped him make that before the shower) and I again holding up a cute plate setting with polka dots and a big L for Lennon. Soooo cute. Thanks Sara and Tracy!!! There were many people there but I didn't have room on this post to add any more pics. I will show more on the next post.

Here it is!!!! Jiles room. So cute. The pictures don't do it justice. It is super NEAT!!!

We didn't do a theme just a shabby chic kinda of feel. We love antique so that is what we did. This bed was in my old room at home. The bear is made of my grandmother's quilt. The old rocking chair is Jeremy's grandmothers.

Her bed is green and white and we added a pink fitted sheet. The walls are pale pink with white wainscoting (sp?). The crib was Jiles' and we just painted it white.

This was my old dresser and it was off white. We painted it white and gave it new life. As you can tell we did a lot of refurbishing with this room. We still need to add some more pictures and stuff to make it full. But that will come.

Another project. This was upstairs as a wooden bench for decoration. We took the wood off and Jeremy made this picture art. I love it. It is one of my favorite pieces in the room. :) Thank you honey-you are the best.

This is the best idea my friend Jesse gave me. It is a shoe organizer....but it helps organize anything and everything you need or want for your little girl. We have hair bows, clips, lotion, soap, brushes, and much more all in this organizer. Too Neat!!!

On to the ROOMs!!!! First Big Brother Jiles' COOOOOL room. He went upstairs and it is kinda like a loft. It is so awesome but he is a little young and isn't quite sure about it. He likes to play up there but not sleep. In a couple of years he is going to love it-if we are still here. :)
Collage of records and Jeremy's grandfather's guitar.

When you come up the stairs. This is the hallway that leads to Jiles' room. It makes it look like a loft. It has great pictures of the Yankees on the side. He has a great walk-in closet for his arts and crafts, books, and games. I love his room.
Now for Lennon's sweet girl room. I know you will love it.

Another do it ourselves project.....This is a shelf Jeremy made for Lennon's room and the quilt was from my mother. I put together the flower arrangement because I love hydrangeas. I also love the plate because my mom gave this to me the day of our referral. It says....."For the child we have prayed and you have granted our request." Thank you Lord!!!
Last but not least....my all time favorite item in this room The chandelier. It just makes the room so perfect and girly. I can't wait to show you pictures of her in this room. I just know she will love it. I hope to be posting soon about our travel arrangements for baby girl. Until then.....

Lennon is 8 Months!!!!!!!!

"Pucker Up".......I hope I am coming home soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy 8 months Lennon!!!! WE love you so much. We wanted to post the top 8 things we love most about our baby girl.
1. She has the prettiest hair. I can't wait to put bows in that hair as soon as she gets home. I have always wanted to do that.
2. Those lips...perfect for smooching.
3. Those chubby cheeks, legs, and arms. We just want to pinch them. ( Promise-not to hard )
4. That smile we see in your videos and pictures that some amazing people have sent over for us to cherish of you.
5. That God hand picked you for our family. We know you will fit right in perfectly.
6. Those beautiful almond eyes. They just glisten in your photos.
7. That you are going to be our daughter. Mommy, Daddy, and Big Bro Jiles can't wait to have a little girl in the family.
8. Last but not least....even though you didn't grow under my heart but in it. I still think you look a lot like my baby photos. God is good.
Lennon....we can't wait until you are home. Ring, Phone, Ring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please give us a Travel Call soon. Pray with us... the wait is AWFUL!!!!!
Hope you had a great day yesterday on your 8 month birthday. I pray you are home before your 9th!!!!
Love you to the moon and back, Momma, Daddy, and Jiles

Lucy Lane's Gotcha Day Video
Enjoy this precious video of a hometown friend (Kristi J) that just brought her baby girl home from Ethiopia. Lucy Lane is a doll baby!!! Her and Lennon are only a few days apart. I know Kristi and her family prays this video touches hearts and stirs them to listen. See if God is calling you to act. Is you heart calling you to Ethiopia or Korea or anywhere??? Maybe even right here in America..."Every baby deserves a place to call home.-Holt" There are 147 million orphans in the world lets see if we can get that number down one baby at a time. Many blessings and enjoy the video, (Go down to the bottom and mute my music so you can hear hers) Her friend Karen did an excellent job doing this "Gotcha Video". I hope she can do mine. :)

Getting Closer!!!!
We are getting closer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We got our EP (Emigration Permit) approval by e-mail yesterday but it was dated 6/30/09. That is right between the dates we were logged in and out of NVC. From here we have VI (Visa Interview) and then TC (Travel Call)!!!!!!!! This could be a couple of weeks to a month or more. We are praying for faster than later. The only thing making me nervous is school so I am going to get my room ready this next week just incase. Well have a great weekend.....going to the Drive-In tonight to see "UP". Should be fun. I will try and take pics and see if the camera works.

It's Monday in Korea!!!!!!
Praying for great things this week in Korea. I pray we get our EP (emigration permit) approval and that they start working on all the paper work to get her Visa Interview and physical in the next couple of weeks. This will be the hardest part of the wait I can already tell sooooo..... please pray that things will go smoothly and quickly to get baby girl home.
We are ready!!!!
4th News- We had a great 4th of July and relaxed with the family. We fished, rode 4-wheelers, played, and ate. And ate some more. Jiles had a good time but missed his cousin Colby they were in Alabama visting our other Aunt. I know they had a good time but he sure did miss him. We hope next time we go to the farm we will have Miss Lennon with us. She will love the farm, all the kids do. We went to see fireworks at Sturgis-yes the same place where they hold Little Sturgis bike rally. But this time it was family friendly. Little Sturgis will be in a few weeks and we need to pray for all the people that will attend this because there is not much GOOD going on in that park. Anyways the fireworks were great and Jiles loved them. I couldn't help but think about next year when Lennon will be celebrating America's birthday with us. I can't wait to celebrate all the holiday's as a family of 4. I think Halloween will be the first big one we will have together. What fun!!!!
Well no pictures tonight... need to purchase a new camera. Ours is not working right anymore and we need to get one soon before our baby girl's arrival and I need to take some more Summer pics before it is back to school for us. Have a great week. Rhea Anne

Adoption Update
Hey guys, just wanted to let everyone know where we were.
We have been Logged In and Out of NVC (National Visa Center) and today DC mailed off our Packet 3. Don't really understand all of it but know we are getting closer to getting baby girl home.
Prayer: Please pray we get our Emigration Permit today. We are still waiting on this and I know this is on the Korea side. I need all of you praying for her and my other blog friends' babies to be home at least by August if not sooner. Many of us are on the same timeline and we are all getting anxious. Please pray for Candice and her baby girl (she has been waiting a long time for her baby to come home), JoJo and Rachel and their baby boys, and for my good friend Kathy and her baby girl. Kathy has been a life saver explaining everything to me and helping me out on the way. BIG THANK YOU goes out to Kathy!!!! I know we are all just wanting our babies home. With all of us gathered in prayer our God will hear our prayers to bring Lennon and the all the other babies home to the forever families. Thank you all for your support during this exciting time for all of us.
Many blessings, Rhea Anne
