I Love Technology

This is Jiles saying the Lord's Prayer. I would love to take credit for teaching it to him but I can't. Jiles went to HCA for two years a private christian school here and learned so much about our God. I was so pleased with his preschool years and what he learned. I will miss Heritage but not that payment of course. Thanks Mrs. Deanna, Mrs. Debbie, and Mrs. Tammy for all you did. Big hugs and kisses, The Wyatt's

School is Out For Summer

School is OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited that it is summer!!! Jiles and I are planning on having a bunch of fun just hanging out and swimming almost everyday. We are going to go to Gatlinberg this summer hopefully with the fam and maybe a few other short little trips.
Just thought I would add a few pictures of Mommy and Jiles and Daddy and Jiles. We both had on our baseball shirts but Jiles hadn't got his gear on yet. He loves baseball and I will be getting some pictures on here soon of our STAR playing.
Please be in prayer about a situation in Nashville with a domestic adoption taking place and that God's will will be done. Please pray that all things work out for the betterment of the child. I look forward to the day that I get to write about our journey. Some days are so hard not to get discouraged about when will it happen to me. I am so ready to make Jiles a big brother and hold a precious baby that God sent just for our family. I know it is all in his perfect timing but sometimes I get a little selfish and want it know. Pray for me to have peace!!!
Can't wait to go to the pool-maybe we will go tomorrow!!! Love ya'll,

Jiles and Katie

Jiles and Katie singing "Jesus Loves Me" I know this will touch your heart as much as it did mine. How sweet it is to hear these words come from our children's' mouths.

Having Fun on the Belt Farm

This Memorial Day weekend we spent time on the family farm. We rode 4 wheelers, roasted marshmellows, fished, and even built a picnic table as a family. We love spending time out there in the country. It is so peaceful and you can actually sit outside and think about all the wonderful blessings God has given you. Jiles has so much fun there spending time with Colby (his best cousin-in his words) and staying up late and playing outside ALL DAY!!! We love going to Marion.

I have been thinking alot this weekend about our adoption and I want you all to keep praying hard. I do have a peace that something is about to take place and soon. I want you all to keep praying and I am sure you are because you all are the best prayer warriors. (Thank you!!!) I do ask that you keep the Steven Curtis Chapman family in your prayers as well as they have lost a child this past week due to a car accident at the family home. I can't imagine their grief and do lift them up in prayer.

Are God is mighty and I know his plan is big and wonderful for us all. We have to believe in that and trust in him daily. Some days just seem to be harder than others sometimes. Until then believing in Mark 11:24,

Jiles and Nico

Keep in touch and come visit us soon. Joe and Leslie we will be praying for you both and your family. Hopefully we can come visit you as well in the capital. Love you guys,

Check out the Slide Show

Don't forget to check out the slide show at the bottom of the page. I have worked so hard on it but it is still too big. I can't seem to make it smaller but for now it will work. Enjoy!!!

I wanted to add this pic of an early morning in LBL. I had to take a master's class in digital photograpy and we had to go around and find beatiful pictures of nature. It wasn't very hard as you can see. It was so peaceful and I took some amazing pictures of mother nature.

This picture stood out to me today. Do you sometimes feel like the world is filled with such darkness and wordly things that we can get lost in it? I do and then there is God the brillant light that helps us find our way home. Just like this light shining through the darkness of the trees our light needs to shine for our Lord so we can stand out from among the crowd. I know everday I am still growing in my faith and I just hope that today someone saw his glorious light shine right through me.

Many blessings,

Looking good Buddy!!!

Jiles getting his dipolma from preschool!!! You look great buddy!!!

Gatlinberg Fun!!!

We went to Gatlinberg, TN this weekend on a marriage retreat with about 15 other couples. It was a BLAST!!! We discussed the foundation, dedication and then the application of our marriage. Jeremy was the one that facilitated the discussion and God really spoke through him. I have such and AMAZING man that I get to call husband. I am so blessed.

Jiles missed us but had a great time with Nana and Papaw. He went to the Little River Days and saw rabbits, goats, and played on bouncers and slides. His favorite part was the crazy train he got to ride. He kept asking me on the phone while we were away if I saw any bears so I brought one back for him to sleep with. He hasn't let it go since then. I will put some pictures of his graduation as well as the retreat pics as soon as I get home today!!

Jiles is a BIG BOY NOW!!!! We have offically graduated from Preschool at Heritage Christian Academy. He was there for 2 years and has learned so much. I can't believe next year he will be in Kindergarten and will go to school with me. Time flies so fast and he is getting so big. Jiles is the funniest and sweetiest little boy, but I know I might show a little favortism.

I couldn't help but think about our baby this weekend out there that could be getting ready to meet us for the first time soon. Being on the balcony looking over at God's creation made me think about the creation of life and how precious it is. I can't wait for a phone call from Waverly or if we find a birthmother on our own. I know God has a plan and I can't wait to see it unfold. I know if we wait on his glory our reward will be magnificent. Until then, Mark 11:24 :)

Happy Mother's Day

Today was a wonderful day to spend time with Jiles and my mother. Mother's day is a special day for me and I am so thankful that God has blessed me as a mother. I couldn't help to think that maybe next Mother's day I will be a mother of two. I do sometimes day dream about our baby out there and our birthmother that will soon come. I have enjoyed blogging and looking at others blogs to check out their journey to adoption. Adoption is such an amazing leap of faith but the reward is extradionary, just like our Lord. I had a wonderful Mother's day and I hope that all of you mothers out there and mothers to be had a wonderful day as. Many Blessings,

Pray, Pray, Pray

I have been on the phone with a friend and have found out about a birth mother in Nashville. She is supposed to deliver anytime and is having a little girl. They have already found another family for her but please be in pray for them as well. There is also another lady that is thinking of an adoption plan for her child and please be in prayer that if God's will this would work out for our family. I get cold chills just thinking about our baby that could be growing right now and how God will lead him/her right to us. It is so neat to see God at work. The love of a mother is amazing. I am in prayer for our birth mother because I know she loves her baby and is trying to find the right home for them. I pray she has peace. Until then, believing in Mark 11:24-The Wyatt's

Getting Started

I have just started our blog site!!! This will be a way for everyone to be apart of our adoption journey. The Wyatt family consist of Jeremy, Rhea Anne and Jiles, but we can't wait to be the Wyatt Party of 4!!! We have started the process of domestic adoption (adoption within the states) in March. I went to see our lawyer Waverly Townes in Louisville and Jeremy was on the phone during our first meeting. We created our scrapbook and now we are in the waiting process of this journey. I wanted to start this blog to give me something to do while we wait for our baby that God will be sending us. I also thought this would be a great source for everyone to check up on our process and what the Wyatt family is up too. Jiles talks a lot about being a big brother and I can't wait till the day we get to share with him that he will be. Please be in prayer for our journey and that God will send the perfect birth mother for our adoption!!! Jiles doesn't know a lot about this yet and won't until everything is almost finalized or at least on it's way. As you can see we are so excited and can't wait till the day that we get to hold our bundle of joy that God sent just for us. Until then, believing in Mark 11:24 -The Wyatt's
