Almost Christmas....

Well let the countdown begin... Yesterday was my man's birthday. We went shopping and then went to eat with friends and family. It was a surprise and about 20 people there and had a great time. I forgot my camera... sorry no pics but we all had a great time eating and talking. Jeremy is the best husband and daddy in the world and I just am so blessed to have him. He turned 31 and is the rock in our family. Happy Birthday Honey... We love you!!!!

Well... bad news. Our computer is messing up again. I am on it right now but it messes up all the time. We are sending it back and hopefully this time it will be fixed for good. I will not be able to be on the blog for a while so I wanted to let everyone knows what happened to me if you start to worry. I will try and post a few pics of Christmas and then check it at school some.

Adoption Update: We didn't get our grant from helpusadopt but we are tying once more for another one. We have filled out and got everything ready to send to Shaohannah's Hope tomorrow so hopeful with God's will we can get this grant to help out. Please pray for this to happen. It would be so nice to have financial help with our adoption. This year is bringing change with Jeremy opening up his lab, finishing my master's, and adoption I am just a little worried about money. God tells us to not be anxious but to trust in him....so I am trying to do just that. Pray for me. We are also really wanting to sell our house. I would love to have a room that I felt comfortable putting Lennon in when shes gets here and the upstairs room is just not that.

I pray you all have a wonderful Christ filled Christmas. May your new year bring you joy and happiness and I pray your family is richly blessed in 2009.

Merry Christmas,
The Wyatt's (Lennon.... can't wait for you to be here next Christmas... We love you bunches already----Mom, Dad, and Big Bro Jiles)

Too neat....

Interesting article I found online today searching another Korean adoption blog....Katherine Heigl And Josh Kelley To Adopt A Korean Baby
Grey's Anatomy star Katherine Heigl (who plays Izzy) and her husband Josh Kelley are planning to adopt a child from South Korea within the next year, according to reports. The couple has reportedly chosen South Korea because Heigl's older sister Meg was adopted from the country.A source tells the National Enquirer, "Meg has had a profound impact on Katherine's life, which is why she and Josh are trying to adopt a Korean child. They've chosen an adoption agency and have started filing the necessary paperwork. They haven't gone public with the news yet because they want to make sure there are no problems before they make an announcement."Earlier this year Heigl, 29, revealed she had abandoned plans to have a biological child with singer Kelley, who she married last December. She said, "I'm done with the whole idea of having my own children. It doesn't seem like any fun. I don't think it's necessary to go through all of that."

Christmas letter and card...

(Click on photo and it will make it larger... it is worth it-trust me!!)
Dear Friends and Family,

We wanted to send out a letter to share about our year and how God has blessed us in 2008. This year we have grown as a couple and will be growing soon as a family as well, but I will go into that in minute. Let me start off with, this past March we started teaching a young married couples class with another couple Bill and Julie Garnett and have been richly blessed by being apart of this growing class. Our class T-n-C (Together in Christ) has over 30 couples and has a passion for the Lord to reach out and help others while sharing the gospel. Jeremy and I have been so excited to watch as the Lord works in this class and in the couples that come. God is good!!
As many of you know we have been trying to have another child for about 4 years now and with one miscarriage, God started speaking to our hearts about another way to expand our family. In May we started praying about adoption. We also started looking at agencies and researching countries that would most likely be the best fit for our family. At first we thought about domestic adoption (United States), but then after prayer we felt this was not the way we wanted to go. Frustrated, we started looking again at countries that would work for our family. We felt drawn to the Asian culture and found out that Korea was open for international adoption. Korea had everything we had been praying for: infant girls available escort to the United States, reasonable wait time, and a secure program. Jeremy and I were so excited and ready that we got started right away.
In August we had our home studies completed, fingerprinting for Immigration, and by September we were on the waiting list at Holt International for our little girl. In August we also had a fundraiser yard sale where many friends and family helped by donating items to sell to go towards our adoption. We raised over $1000.00 and were thrilled to say the least. We still have a lot of money to raise and save up for, but our God is good and we know he will provide. I did fill out grants for our adoption but found out last week that we did not get the big one we had applied for. We are going to keep trying and start looking for other grants to fill out to help with the financial burden that an adoption can bear. We do ask for prayer that we will find a grant that would help us to bring our little girl home and also for health, love and protection for her until she is home with us.
Jiles started Kindergarten this year, has started reading and will be child Jesus this Christmas in our adult musical program. He is such a blessing to Jeremy and I. Jiles has a sweet, humble, and meek spirit about him that draws you in. We are so blessed to have him as a son. He loves school and baseball. He can’t wait to be a big brother and prays for Lennon daily. He is growing up so fast that we just try and soak up all the memories before he doesn’t enjoy cuddling with us anymore, because as of right now he still loves to cuddle, and we love it too.
To end the year for 2008, I turned the big 3-0 in November and as you can see in our Christmas card we had a radical party with a few friends. We dressed up in 80’s attire, because I love the 80’s, and we had a blast playing games and fellowshipping. We hope you enjoy the card and get a good laugh because we know we look so COOL!!! Doesn’t Jiles look like the mini-“Joe Dirt”? J hee hee….We do want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and many blessing for the new year to come.

All our love,
Jeremy, Rhea, Jiles, and 레논 Lennon Wyatt

Still SICK!!!

Hey guys:

My computer is still sick and is being mailed to Toshiba as I type. I wanted to shoot a quick e-mail from work letting you guys know we are still here and kicking. We had a wonderful turkey day and are so thankful for so many things. My BIG 3-0 was on Thanksgiving as well and it was wonderful to be spending time with friends and family. I have a few special friends that through me my "surprise" dress in the 80's b-day party and I was actually surprised. I will show pics when my computer is fixed... it will be worth the wait. (trust me) Jeremy also surprised me on Friday and we went out on the town. We went to Nashville for a romantic dinner for 2 and then to see the Rockettes... I loved it!!!! He also got me pearl earrings I have been wanting to match my necklace. Thanks hun.... you are the best and I Love You!!!!!

The grant will be sending out notifications today so please pray!!!!!!!!! We should receive word by the end of this week. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and now it is time for Christmas. Can you believe it? We went to Wal-Mart on "Black Friday" and it was CraZy to say the least!!!! We have our 3 trees up and one is a small tree in Jiles room. The one in the dining room is our favorite. It is a country Christmas... we string popcorn and this year we dried out apples and oranges. It has cranberries and all natural things on it. I will show pics later when I can. The other tree is my fancy tree-it is so pretty. There is something about sitting in a dark room with only the Christmas lights on and praising the Lord for all he has done.. God is Good all the Time... All the Time God is Good!!!!!

Merry Christmas and I promise to try and write more this week,
Rhea Anne
