Well, just got back from a retreat for youth workers at Johnathan Creek. It was amazing watching God show up. He broke my heart for him, the lost, and my walk. I know I am not perfect but I want to strive to be more Christ like. I am loved by God and that is such a blessing. I pray that I will find a ministry to do to help our young adults. I know our youth our the future and I want to know when it is all said and done I invested in the lives of our young people.
As you can see we have a new look. I am so thrilled about it. I love polka dots and blue. Thanks to the Prissy Chicken Lady and to Shanan for sharing how to find the website that makes it super easy. I thought I would share in case others wanted a change. http://matiekay.blogspot.com/ Let me know if you change so I can check out your new look.
I will put up pics of the weekend later but right now I am too tired. Blessings, Rhea Anne

School Days
Well-we have had two days of school this week and all is good. I have a very low number this year which is great since I have a few boogers. Jiles loves school and his teacher. He says his favorite so far is Art and P.E. Can you believe specials is his favorite? Of course it is all the students favorite. He said lunch is good also. :)
I think about my Jiles as he is growing up and I pray that he becomes a man of God. I pray that as he grows in life that God places Christians in his life to make important impressions for his faith. Jiles is such a "Gift for God" and he is loved by his heavenly father, us, and so many others. His spirit lights up the room and his humbleness brings others to adore him. I am so blessed to be called his mother. I was reading in my bible today and saw a scripture that I wanted to share.
Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one's youth. Psalms 127:4
God gives us our children as a blessing from him and I am so grateful. Even though our second child did not grow in my belly, she has been growing in my heart for a long time. She will be a blessing and will be loved so much.
I wish you all the greatest day in the Lord, rhea anne

Jiles Open House and Back to School Night
The day has come for our little one to head to school. We can't believe that he is ready for Kindergarten. We know he will be taken care of and loved but it is still going to be a little hard. He is growing up and becoming such a sweet little man. I pray for him daily and hope his first days of school are the best ever. We love you Jiles, Mom and Dad
Some shots of the boys playing putt putt. They are looking good. They loved it!! Some times they hit it in with 2 shots others it was about 20 or more. It was too cute.

New Blog and Summer
I thought I would change my blog a little this evening. Let me know if you like it better. I wanted a little change. Well I have a PD tomorrow for school and then it will be the start of school next week. (So SAD) I will miss so much!!! I thought for today's blog entry I would write 10 things I love about Summer.
1. Swimming at the YMCA pool. (I just hate wearing the bathing suit) Maybe next Summer I will be skinny. (hee hee)
2. Sleeping late, which is 8:30 at the latest but it is much better than 5:30 during the school year.
3. Monday Bible studies with the moms. These ladies where amazing and I didn't get to go as much as I liked but they were awesome and it was fun.
4. No worries-this is the best part just having fun and not worrying about anything.
5. Not being so tired after working a full day. I felt like this Summer keeping the house clean and cooking wasn't so hard to keep up with.
6. Blog friends-I have enjoyed getting on the blog and meeting new friends and watching their journey or just their life.
7. The adoption process has really started going this Summer. Maybe next year at this time we will have a little one board as well.
8. Going to the family farm-riding 4-wheelers, fishing, and just hanging out with the fam!!!
9. Being home with Jiles. We always have such a great time together each Summer.
10. And last but not least-this is why I can teach every year. If we teachers didn't have a break than I couldn't look forward to going back to crazy days, silly parents, and too much stress. I do look forward to starting this year and pray that all my students can see Jesus in me everyday. I might be the only light they see-I just need to remember that when times are tough.
*Pray for our schools, students, and teachers this week. We need it and our students need it as well. Blessings, rhea anne

Technology and a Clean House
(By the way the new song on the bottom is Black Crows-the drummer is from Hoptown and it is one of my favorite songs ever.- Wish they were still together, they were a great band.)
Well-I wanted to put a picture of Jiles on the computer because it amazes me how much kids know these days about technology. He can do so much on a computer and he is 5. By the time he is 10 he will be over my head on computers I am sure of it. He loves playing on Star Fall and PBS kids. He starts Kindergarten in a few days and he is ready. His open house is Friday-I will so pictures after. He is excited but a little nervous. He has went to HCA here in town for 2 years and it is a small Christian school. We loved it but we know Holiday will be great place for him as well and plus he will be with me and his Nana. What fun!! -I hope!!!
On the other picture I put a pic of the our clean house. We had our last home study visit today and it went great. Our house is spotless. It won't stay that way that is for sure. I hope the process to get it written up takes shorter than 3 weeks but that is what we are looking at right now. I can't believe we are already one step closer. I can't wait to get everything sent off and to Korea so that we can get on the official "Waiting List." I need to be patient and not rush God's timing. Sometimes that is hard for me-but I am learning. Well hope you all have a great week.
Until then believing in Mark 11:24, rhea wyatt
Why I want a little sister? By Jiles
(Mute the music at the bottom of the blog so you can hear what he has to say.) This is a cute video by Jiles on why he wants to be a big brother. Too Cute!!! He will be a good one that is for sure.
