B-Ball TIME!!!

B-Ball here we come!!! Saturday was Jiles first game for the Buffaloes. He is playing for the Upward Bound league in Hopkinsville. It was a great experience. They had a practice, devotional time, and then got stars for being Christ-like and Jiles got best offense.

My big boy is a balla.... Well this is how it works. They are matched up with another player from the other team (they wear the same colored wrist bands) and they are only allowed to guard that player. This was great and helped to control the craziness. He did so well on defense. The other team had one great player and it was hard to keep up with him but we will get better. Remember this is our first game. Well let me get to the part of my boy being a balla. He got the ball a couple of times and missed it barely....but then it happened. He went for the shot and made it!!!! 2 points for the Buffaloes. I went CRAZY!!! And Then.... he did it again the next time down the court. He stole the ball and then it was....4 points for the Buffaloes. As you can see I was a Very Proud Momma!!! We only scored twice by my baby and the other team scored 4 times but they don't really take score. I was so proud of him and how much he tried. He loved it. It is such a great league. They learn a game and about our Savior. They learn to be Christ like in sport and show God's love through Basketball. How Cool!!!
Here he is. Doesn't he look so cute. I was just so proud. He birthday is tomorrow and we had his party right after the game at the local skating rink but I will post those tomorrow or Tuesday. I can't believe he will be 6 at 3:15 in the morning. Man, how time flies. He is becoming such a little man. I am so blessed.

Mute the music at the bottom and watch our team run in. They get announced like the big dogs in the NBA... Check out how everyone else runs in and my sweetie struts. Too funny!!! Hope you had a great God filled Sunday and enjoyed the beautiful weather. God bless you all this week,

More Pics and Read the Last Post!!!

Read the post below but here are some more pictures of the Wyatt's...mostly just Jiles. The pics above are of the latest ice storm in KY and surrounding areas. We were only out of power for 12 hours but there are still people without it in Crofton. We are still out of school... It has been 7 days total so far. WOW... what are we going to do. Since it was a state of emergency HOPEFULLY we don't have to make it up. The other pics are just of fun moments with Jiles.

**Help** There is something funny going on with my pictures after I download them. Instead of pictures it is the URL #'s and letters????? Does anyone know why or how to get them to show up as pics so I could type under them? After I hit post they turn back into the pictures???? It has never done this in the past but it has been a while since I downloaded pictures maybe the blog world has changed. I will take any help I can get. :) Have a great day in the Lord,

Change...how to accept and be ready for it...

Change is something that can be so hard to deal with even if you have been praying for it and ready for it for a long time.

Change #1...For over 4 years we have been praying for Jeremy to have an opportunity to go out and start his own business. Well the time is approaching were it will be happening in just a few short months. They have already started building it and it should be ready this summer. We are so excited but a little nervous.
Change #2... we have been trying to sell our house for the past year or so and it is getting closer to selling. We have had some really interested people come and hopefully we will hear soon about if they want it or not. I am super excited about this as well but once again it is change. What house do we get next? What if we can't afford it? What if we need to move to Clarksville? What if Jeremy's business doesn't do well?
Change #3...As you all know we have been trying to have another child for over 4 years now and it is getting closer until we will get our referral for our precious Lennon. This has to be the best change in the world. I can't wait to be a mother to another little one. But of course the nerves get to going again. What if I don't remember how to do it all again? What if she doesn't like me? What if? What if? What if?

Well after all this---What if? I had had enough and decided...OK...Rhea Anne... Duh... Give it God... He has been saying this to me for forever. I bet he is so tired of watching me struggle with this for so long. I give it to him and then pick it back up. I know he is our provider, savior, father, and keeper. So I decided to write him a little letter.

Dear God,
I owe everything to you and everything to you I give. I love you Lord and I am so sorry for worrying about all the change instead of giving it you in the first place. I know you hold my family in your hands and I pray you will protect us spiritually, financially, and physically. I pray that all we do is in your will and your will alone. I am not going to worry or make things happen my way anymore. I give you my all. Thank you for what you have giving my family and what you have in store for us in the future. I give you my worry, my struggles, our change, my everything. Do with us what you will for your plan is Great and our plans are only Good. I can't wait to sit back and watch YOUR plan unfold before my eyes.

Your loving daughter,
Rhea Anne

Just had to get it out... thanks for listening to me...many blessing to you and your family,

Love,Rhea Anne

GREAT site for our ministry

I am so pumped....I found a great site full of information about starting an adoption ministry, adoption manual, and an adoption biblestudy. The best part is it is FREE!!! Yes...check it out if you are intersted in starting your own ministry at your church or just want some great information. www.hfgf.org I have printed and now having it bound at school so I can read over the manual this weekend.

I have also got some great guotes to start us off before we create our mission statement. We have to have a mission so that we can bring babies home to their family and show God's love to others....which is all about ADOPTION.

Below-is on the site and I think it is just perfect for a misstion statement. I know we can't copy straight from this but we can let it guide us to what we see for Hillcrest's Adoption Ministry.

Church Adoption Ministry

*Brings God's Love to orphan children by living example.
*The best way for orphans to become adopted children of God.
*Helps willing families overcome financial obstacles to adoption.
*Connects adopting families with sponsors who have the means and willingness to help.
*Enables sponsors to help adopting families in their own home church and community.
*Demonstrates the Father Heartof God to the world.Remember the boy with the loaves and fish?
*God loves to bless pure and undefiled religion!

I can't wait until our first meeting on Feburary 2nd. Please be praying for women and men to show up that have a heart for God and for orphans.

Much Love and many blessings to you,

Adoption Ministry and Update

Well, I have been praying along with others about starting an adoption ministry at our church. I am calling today to start putting a date in the bulletin about meeting for it. This is just the beginning. We will need to have a first meeting to discuss what we want and see for the future of an adoption ministry. Please be in prayer for this. I have read some blogs about others adoption ministry in churches and they are amazing. God works through his people to inform others about adoption and what God says about caring and bringing home his children. I am so excited about this. I have been fighting the devil telling me not to do it or I don't have time or I don't know enough about adoption.....the list goes on and on. Please pray for me to rebuke these thoughts and fears and go ahead and rely on God. It will all work out and everything might not be perfect but I know God will see us through.

Adoption Update: The referrals are moving a little faster this month. I am looking at the regular Korea program and we will be close to that date as well. So it seems that if they keep moving fast like they did last month then we will get a referral maybe before this Summer!!!! I can't wait to see her face and someday soon hold her.

If you are not checking in our Kristi's blog please go and watch because soon her family will be getting their referral for their baby girl in Ethiopia. How exciting!!! I can't wait to see Lucy Lane's face. They have such a wonderful family with 4 children. Lucy will the be 5th...:) They are a wonderful Christian family that loves the Lord and each other. Lucy will be so blessed to be in this family. Can't wait to watch your journey, Kristi. http://www.weloveourlucy.blogspot.com/

Well as you can see I have no pics and the computer is being sent off once more. :( If this doesn't work then it will go to California and we will get a new. I am taking an on-line course this semester to finish my Master's and this is not ideal as you can imagine. Hopefully...the computer will get better soon. I miss having it at home. Well....hope you all have a wonderful God filled day,
Rhea Anne

Hello All.....

I am so sorry for not posting the last few days. We have had the worst problem with our computer. I really just want to throw it out the window. Toshiba is calling today and hopefully we will just get a new one since it has been sent off twice already.

Updates on the Wyatt's
Christmas was a blast. Jiles is at that perfect age of magic and loving Christmas. For Christmas Eve we went to my Mother-n-laws house for breakfast and it was fabulous. She is a great cook. We opened gifts and just enjoyed hanging out with each other. After that we went back home and got ready for my family to come over to eat and open gifts from Nana and Papaw. My brother, sister-n-law, their 2 kids, Nana, Papaw, Uncle Charles and us (the Wyatt's) all had a wonderful steak dinner (new tradition started last year) and then opened up way too many gifts. We then made cookies for Santa and hot cocoa. We always watch Polar Express in our pajamas and then put out the reindeer food on the lawn but we always leave a carrot for Rudolph. When cousin Katie and Sammy left... we all went outside and saw Rudolph's nose in the sky flying around. The kids went crazy. It was a plane but it did look pretty cool flashing red light flying high in the sky. Hey-Maybe it was Santa and I just need to believe more. Finally little man got into bed ready for the big day of Christmas. What is it about Nana's and Papaw's they always give so many cool gifts.... I don't ever remembering having such a Christmas that Jiles, Katie, and Sam have. I guess I wasn't as good as them... hee hee

Christmas Morning....Jiles was still asleep and my hubby couldn't wait any longer and made us get up around 7:30---I could have hurt him. One day soon Jiles will be getting up at 4:00 ready to open gifts and we better enjoy the sleeping in now. Anyways we got up and Jiles was super excited. Santa left him a note (handwritten for him) and ate all his cookies. He then found his presents....a Tribot (robot), basketball, drawing stuff, and a Wii- man he was excited and so was DADDY!!! I think that is why someone wanted us to hurry up and get up. Jiles then opened up other gifts of clothes and few other things but he was ready to get the Wii started.

Needless to say we have been playing the Wii every since. Jiles and Daddy are hooked on Mario cart and I have to put a time limit on how much it is played. I do love playing the boxing and bowling. I have beat Jeremy twice in boxing....I pack a mean punch.

As for New year's we went to our good friends the Glover's house and played games, ate pizza, and made ice cream sundae's. We also played the Wii. We went home around 12:30 and I was ready. Can you tell we are getting old? I am looking forward to what the year 2009 will bring. Jeremy's dental lab is now under construction and that is exciting, referral and bringing home baby, and hopefully selling of our home. We have 3 people interested in it right now.... please be praying for that.

I so love blogging and I miss not putting up pics. The computer at school will not let me download them very easily. I will be back to putting up pics as soon as we get a new computer. I do hope you all had a wonderful Christmas break and a blessed year to come. I have so enjoyed my blog and meeting new and wonderful Christian women on here as well.

Many blessing for the week to come, Rhea Anne
