Well, I have been praying along with others about starting an adoption ministry at our church. I am calling today to start putting a date in the bulletin about meeting for it. This is just the beginning. We will need to have a first meeting to discuss what we want and see for the future of an adoption ministry. Please be in prayer for this. I have read some blogs about others adoption ministry in churches and they are amazing. God works through his people to inform others about adoption and what God says about caring and bringing home his children. I am so excited about this. I have been fighting the devil telling me not to do it or I don't have time or I don't know enough about adoption.....the list goes on and on. Please pray for me to rebuke these thoughts and fears and go ahead and rely on God. It will all work out and everything might not be perfect but I know God will see us through.
Adoption Update: The referrals are moving a little faster this month. I am looking at the regular Korea program and we will be close to that date as well. So it seems that if they keep moving fast like they did last month then we will get a referral maybe before this Summer!!!! I can't wait to see her face and someday soon hold her.
If you are not checking in our Kristi's blog please go and watch because soon her family will be getting their referral for their baby girl in Ethiopia. How exciting!!! I can't wait to see Lucy Lane's face. They have such a wonderful family with 4 children. Lucy will the be 5th...:) They are a wonderful Christian family that loves the Lord and each other. Lucy will be so blessed to be in this family. Can't wait to watch your journey, Kristi. http://www.weloveourlucy.blogspot.com/
Well as you can see I have no pics and the computer is being sent off once more. :( If this doesn't work then it will go to California and we will get a new. I am taking an on-line course this semester to finish my Master's and this is not ideal as you can imagine. Hopefully...the computer will get better soon. I miss having it at home. Well....hope you all have a wonderful God filled day,
Rhea Anne

Thanks Rhea...so sweet of you to mention me...My girlfriend and I are wanting to start a similar type of ministry at our church and are trying to figure out how to get started...I'll be watching your ministry closely...We have a woman running a "infertile" ministry but she doesn't ant to promote adoption..just support and info about adoption if you can't conceive...We're wanting to promote adoption and get the word out about the orphan crisis...we'll see where these ideas take us..Thanks again for the prayers, kristi
I just emailed you...let me know if you don't get it! Erin
